Great news! I’m now writing for Coffee House Writers! Check out my author page!
At Coffee House Writers I get to write whatever subject matter might tickle my fancy. I’m starting with A Thousand Worlds Away From Me, a multi-part romance set in the time of COVID-19. It wrestles with death, grief, family addiction, and that feeling of loneliness that we’ve all experienced during lock-down.
So, you know, the things I can’t seem to stop writing about.
I found Coffee House Writers browsing #writingcommunity on Twitter. It’s an all volunteer run site for writers to share their work, receive critical review and editing, and build a writing community.
So far, having a deadline every two weeks has helped me stay focused on what will become a novella-length work of fiction. It has also helped me think about what direction I’d like take my career. Consideration of where and how I want to put my work out in the world hasn’t always been on the forefront of thought, but now with a platform to share it, I have to be a little more thoughtful.
I have a new installment on CHW every other week, and I have an editor holding me accountable, so stay tuned for more!
